Long time no see! Apologies I haven't been able to upload any posts recently. As you all might know I've been moving house to London! Very exciting, I know. Won't blabber around this here, will do a more detailed update post soon. Howdy to my first post in London (I know howdy isn't British ;-).
EmerginC is probably a brand you might not be very familiar with, not to confuse with emergenC - a powder form of vitamin C. It's a brand that uses fruit acids in their products, it's paraben-free, as well as from artificial colors. I've tried this make up remover since I used up the Bioderma Créaline H2O, which is about 2-3 weeks, as I didn't want to bring half-used bottles to London.
Have you ever tried EmergenC Multi-Fruit Cleanser?

I haven't tried the cleanser but I do love their Phytocell Cream, has a very slight smell of citrus but it's really moisturising without being greasy, I have dry skin so really need the moisture.

I actually quite like the sound of this - at least in theory. I'm all for natural ingredients and no nasties, and I like the idea of a fruity-smelling cleanser (Origins do one that smells of oranges and it's sooo nice). But it's not so great that it doesn't get eye makeup off. To be honest though, these days I only ever remove my cleanser with a washcloth, as I find that without doing so I'll almost always be left with a trace of makeup on my skin. I hate it if I apply toner and see foundation left on the cotton pad!

I have to say that the scents of Origins are one of my fave, don't know if I can put the scent of the EmerginC in the citrusy sector. Though it does smell "kind of organic". Ugh I hate to see make up on my cottonpad when applying toner. Hence I remove my make up (twice - Bioderma) and then cleanse my skin to be sure there is no foundation :-). x
DeleteYou should try MAC's cleanse-off oil. It is amazing! It removes everything, and it's easy to rinse off because when you add water it turns into a milky consistency. My bottle is almost empty and I'm definitely buying it again. I got a little sample of it before I bought it just to try it out. :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, that sounds great honestly. Am interesting in trying out the DHC cleansing oil too, guess I'll pick that up this summer when I'm in Asia ;-). x
