Sorry that I haven't been blogging these days, I've been really busy planning, and scheduling some apartment viewings in London. My twitter followers might've caught on to that as I posted some tweets about that (follow me for daily rambles, tweets, and instagram posts! :-). Everything is booked, and confirmed now: I'll be going this Saturday - Sunday to London to view some potential rooms. So excited!
Unfortunately I'll be going on my own, but really stoked nonetheless. I thought it'd be fun to show what I already packed a bit. I'm flying with Easyjet, and won't check-in any bags, just to be time efficient, and for 2 days/1 night, I won't need that much. The bad side of carry-on bags is the regulation that you can't bring over 100ml products on the plane, so I had to go shopping today for some travel size mini's. I also had a good look in my sample/travelsize/mini drawers to find some skincare bits I could take with, and this is what I came up with. It's packed in a small sized mesh-bag from MUJI, which I picked up before leaving Paris. I threw in a Batiste Dry Shampoo, Aquafresh toothpaste, Dove gofresh deodorant, Philosophy Purity Made Simple, Marc Jacobs Lola Rollerball, balance Me. Wonder Eye Cream, Clarins HydraQuench Cream, and some cotton pads/q-tips (all products are travel sizes). Very minimal skincare packed as you can see. Have never tried the eye cream, so giving it a trial run (got it in the December Glossybox). I initially wanted to take the mini Bioderma, but it didn't fit in the mini mesh-bag, and didn't want to lug the big one with, so had to settle with the Philosophy one - which is really good too!
As for bits I'll be taking in my handbag: L'Occitane Shea Butter hand cream, Dior Addict Extreme 'Cherie Bow', NUXE chapstick, YSL Glossy Stain #11, Travalo with Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, Labello Fruity Shine 'Cherry', Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, and hand cream. A girl gotta have her choices right? ;-) I definitely will be bringing my camera (Nikon Coolpix someting...) with me if I happen to have time to snap some pictures of beautiful London, and my Firmoo glasses with wooden frame - freakin' amazing! Will do a full review on my Firmoo glasses soon!
So this is it... Haven't thought about make up, and clothing yet, will do that tomorrow. Today I'll put out a little wishlist of products I want to buy, and stores I have to check out. So lucky that I'm going in discount season! Going to Selfridges, Topshop, Office, and Boots/Superdrug are on my priority list, looking at you Real Techniques Brushes, and Collection 2000 Concealer! Also have to figure out how the London metro/train things work exactly - lots of homework to do ;-).
Do you have any recommendations of stores to visit, and products that I should get?
